With luck next week we'll be able to tell you where the TARDIS console and some daleks will be on display in the South of England for a few days. We're hoping that the display will be similar to that shown at the Brighton Centre back in February this year. We'll upload some pics of the construction and setup next week all being well.
Then of course the set has to return back to base ready for its use by Mark Jones and his cohorts for their Never Was project. So this weekend there's a wee bit of cleaning and brushing to be donw to make sure all is ship-shape!
Thanks again for all those of you who have watched the new Devious clip we put online a few weeks back. Hopefully you found it enjoyable and a taste of the project. We tried to get some of the humour to show through!
We would also like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Doctor Who Magazine for including us in its roundup of the 67 (was it?) other Doctors for an article in the current edition. We are delighted that Tony scored an impressive 8 out of 10 for his "Quintessential Doctorishness", and we note the "unfinished" tag again but then that's something we wish to put right. The "The Never Was" project has spurred us on to have something to put beside it when that is done.
We do think however that the monthly did unfortunately omit a certain Mick Scovell and Rob Thrush who had put on a series of very successful Doctor Who based plays over the years down in Portsmouth - culminating in the excellent "Evil of the Daleks" and "The Dalek Masterplan". Although we did have some involvement in those productions it was the drive and vision of Rob and Nick that saw those very ambitious projects come to spectacular fruition.
